ABOUT ME

  My name is Caterina Mirtsiou, mostly known as Caterina Lee-Cherry (name taken by a beloved book character) and I am a photographer from Thessaloniki, Greece.

  I was raised by a family of photographers, so when I was younger my father suggested and boosted me to try photography as well. Although I was skeptical in the beginning, the moment I that decided to experiment with his camera, made me realize that this was going to be my new passion.

  I started off with portraits and street photography and soon after my first photo shootings, I got into wedding and christening industry.

  I have lately discovered my passion about nature and landscape, so my collection of photos got even bigger and richer. I started using photos of my gallery as the material for my digital art and photo manipulation, my new creative occupation that formed my coping mechanism during the pandemic’s lockdown that started in 2020.
